Hi, everyone!
Concerning the crazy debacle that touched off today over media “miscommunication” about Rain’s upcoming enlistment, the folks over at 10Asia are the only outlet who have an article up that is to our satisfaction. You can read that article here:

NOTE: Please keep in mind that all Rain has said out of his own mouth is that he will be announcing a big new project (his last one, for now) at an upcoming press conference, and he does seem pretty excited about it. It has been reported in various places that this project could be connected to the new album that he has coming out, OR connected to his new movie in post-production (Flight: Close To The Sun), and that this press conference will be the day of his Best concert in Seoul on the 24th, but no one really knows what the project is. It is all speculation on everyone’s part.
The only thing for sure is that the upcoming press conference will not be an enlistment announcement of any kind.
Rain has promised that he’ll tell us properly when his date is set.

When i saw that today I didn’t even blink. When I saw the tweets saying it wasn’t true, my first thought was, “Of course!”. I’ll be sad to see him go but we all know he has to do it so I’ll wish him well and all that good stuff.

I’m not ready either, ladies, but I’m also a realist. He’s goin’ in. We know it and there’s nothin’ that can be done about it.
So…how about let’s just cheer him on, wave goodbye (in a big, big way…more to come on this…) and let him get started with this thing, so he can get the hell back out and back home and to his fans.

Yes that is a relief to hear. I am not ready for him to go to the military. Truthfully I do not think I will ever be ready. I know on the day he goes is going to be one sad day for me. Cannot wait to hear his big announcement.

Arghhhh the media did it again!!! Good Lord they keep playing a number on us and it’s getting so annoying!! No matter how many time I tell to myself it’s not true, wait for Rain’s announcement I just can stop my heart from doing flips flops and drop to my feet every time I see a twit about his military duty. The thing is I can’t be calm till he denies it!! Geez!! I get mad at myself for being so naive but I can’t help it!! They got me again!! Grrrrrrrrrr >.<

Thank goodness for that…. that’s a sigh of relief coz I’m not ready yet…I’m having separation anxiety and there I thought he’s leaving that soon. Thank you Lord.
