This is probably going to sound harsh to people, but oh well. It is what it is.
Like I said when I posted this week’s Open Thread: Rain is working his ass off right now to give everybody a good product, the best movie character he can deliver, as well as trying to throw together his concerts and satisfy his sponsors. If he goes without tweeting or communicating in whatever way for a bit, don’t assume stuff and flip out. Go about your day normally, know that the Man is busting his butt, and give him a break. Okay?
I’m just sayin’.

well of course i agree about invading his privacy…but, i gotta tell u with the storms and weather over Asia, i was worried as heck about Rain and his family and yep, i left a message asking him to please let us know he was safe and ok.
that’s all i wanted and of course i’m happy that he sent us something to let us know that he was fine. but i totally agree about the silly assumptions. just no call for that.

All of this sounds like something I said a while back about Rain having a life of his own and how much we demand from him is unfair. Let him enjoy some of his life as he choose to.

I was a little concerned when he said on his Twitter that the oxygen mask was fake and that he couldn’t breathe. How uncomfortable.
And I’m looking forward to the movie too. I just hope it will be distributed here so we can see it on the big screen! Sigh.

Don’t hold your breath on that, maybe some smaller private cinemas might get it but doubt we’ll see it in Ciniplex or Gallaxy theaters. Doubt it’ll be on the level of Crouching Tiger. I will just be happy to see it on DVD one day.

Well said Stephe and absolutely agree. I can only imagine if there was no Twitter. How would people react then….lol.
Although I do enjoy any tweets from him. He isn’t obligated to tweet and certainly doesn’t have to update anyone of every second of his life. The incredible amount of pressure that some people put on him is crazy. He’s working hard not just laying around…..and frankly if he was laying around so what he needs and deserves some Rain time.

Awww I miss him but I know he is working a lot so I limit my twits so they don’t bother him. Gosh but twenty hours on that little thingey and without breathing properly must be awful!!! A man like Rain, used to move around like every second, must feel claustrofobic in there. Talk about endurance!! This shows us that movies are not as easy to make as we believe. Poor baby!!

Amen! I’m very glad you made this statement! I have always frowned upon Clouds asking for more from him. This man works damn hard. We shouldn’t freak out, begin to grovel, and jump to conclusion when he’s out of our “sights” for a short time.
I won’t “approach” my soap box on this subject because we all truly know this man works hard for us DAILY.
What we all should “want” not “demand” at this time is that he enjoy some free time, eat out with friends, play ball with his dog in the park, and look pleasantly back at his accomplishments before entering military service.
Nuff said… *climbs down quietly*
