City of Dreams is Macao’s leading leisure destination and is located right in the heart of the Cotai area. It is also one of the locations where The Fugitive: Plan B was filmed. Today, City of Dreams released their video report on The Fugitive press conference in Macao that took place August 24, 2010, well before the drama’s premiere.
There are two things I distinctly remember from this…
1) The media got wind of the fact (from Director Kwak) that there would be a kissing scene filmed inside the famous House of Dancing Water theater, went nuts, and spread all over that Rain was going to be locking lips with one of the actresses in that magnificent place and who, oh WHO would it be? They were so excited, and had us all convinced. But during the episode in question (which didn’t air until like, October), the kissers turned out to be JinYi (Na-Young) and Kai (Henney) while JiWoo stewed in his own juices in a police car, heartbroken over her callous disregard for him. JiWoo got NO play. Boy, did I laugh at the Media shooting its own self in the foot yet again (in between thoughts of strangling JinYi with my bare hands for hurting JiWoo like that). Haha.
And 2) Rain was criticized and called obscene by netizens galore because of the ETRO suit he wore to the press conference, all because the designer had a stitched animal print in a certain place on the trousers set out for Rain to wear. But Rain had defenders too, who thought people just needed to grow up and get a frickin’ life. I personally loved that suit. The gray fabric was perfect against his gorgeous tan and black shirt, and I was absolutely intrigued by what I considered to be a king cobra peeking out of Rain’s zipper. It doesn’t get any more appropriate than that, folks. Added some spice to my morning coffee, yessiree. 😀
Do enjoy revisiting the Fugitive filming days with this City of Dreams report. It’s good viewing!

Lolllllllllll @ Jimmy Dean… Omg u kill me! I thought it was hilarious that he wore that suit, because besides the fact that it looked damned good on him, I’m sure he had other suits to wear. I mean, come on now! We all know he had no problem w/ people staring at his… ahem… Jimmy Dean.
I do miss that hairstle and that lovely color.
