Do you want to know a little secret of Rain? When Rain was filming the scene of he’s playing drums for the Mentholatum Men Water Tank Lotion CF, because Rain was too concentrated on it so he broke a drumstick and cut his fingers. The crew members at spot were feeling so sorry about it. However, Rain comforted them playfully instead although he’s injured and continued filming until it’s done patiently. Siao Men (*the person who wrote this Official Mentholatum blog) thinks that Rain is very professional. What do you think?

Rain will NEVER be a Diva in public, it’s not his “make-up”, but you better know when he is really angry ONLY the four walls of his home will Ever know. He’s the type that will only “lose his cool” in complete privacy or as close to complete privacy as the situation will allow.
No, he’s not like a certain female celebrity I read about who had an assistant hold her drink (tea/water) with the straw up to her mouth FOR her.

Check at 1:31 you see him putting his finger in his mouth. Doubt it was a serious injury, but if he was a diva he could easily have had a tantrum and walked off set. But, from what I’ve seen there’s very little if any Diva in Rain.

When I met a Speed Racer crew member and told him I am a Rain fan, the first thing he said was, “He’s such a nice guy!” And when I met director James McTeigue, he said the same thing. Costars Susan Sarandon, John Goodman, and Naomi Harris all had good things to say about Rain in interviews and so did Stephen Colbert in the Hip Korea documentary. Rain has consistently earned people’s respect and affection.

Well I wouldn’t really expect Rain to act like a major diva over that. He doesn’t have that kind of personality to be that way, it’s great that more people get to see that though. 🙂

The guy’s just giving him a compliment about not being a nightmare to work with. You know how some mega-celebs are. (my temperature just went up a degree… my throat is parched… I’m dying LOL)
As I understand it, Redcloud, the trap door in the stage at Rain’s World Tour Hong Kong was accidentally left open by the crew and Rain fell through it in the dark, about 8-10 feet straight down, and fractured his arm. And got right back on stage within seconds and finished the show dancing full out. Got it taped up instead of a regular cast, and did the next night’s show dancing full out. And finished the tour. So yeah, Baby Boy’s pretty tough.
(dang, those drumsticks do look kind of big…)

OMG, I didn’t know that!!! Poor Baby!! That’s a great distance to fall from, Thank God it was only a broken arm and not something else. I shudder at the thought of falling like that and to make things worse, in the dark!! Getting his fingers cut is annoying but is nothing really compared to a broken arm.

@Lotus, I’m with you on this one. If Beyonce can bounce back up and finish a concert after she hit the floor down some steps in stilettos, I know Bi could handle come cut fingers.
Hey, if I had fallen face down on some steps in heels, concert would be have done…..over…..it’s a wrap. I would have started singing Spirituals while being carted off on a stretcher. Girlfriend bounced back up like Weeble (old school toy). (SMILES)

i agreed he is perfessional rain alway give at his BEST it doesn’t matter like i said before he love challange his work and work harder that why he alway got more attetion and love by many thing he sure a STRONG image to his peoples and the endoser for them their nothing better then himself and i ENVY rain effort for keep his pain inside
and treat s play as he goes along that why he PAST HIS TEST what ever he do!!! he is our truly honor and pleasure to do anything out of his work rain is truly a amazing and he alway in my book what ever he do for. just how he did his concert last time he got enjury in his leg or foort rain still do and not to mention even he got dispite from sick rain still wanted to be finish and complete his job he is HUMBLE not afriad not how he sucess.. i TOUCH my his hardowrking and move i mean i never see any guy like rain such a true perfessional even his concert and rehershal.. HE JUST AWESOME & my PERSSIONAL on this planet rain is DOWN TO EARTH ya… he is!! 🙂

It could be unpleasant cuz the drumsticks looks HUGE to me. But to someone that has been through many hardships like Rain, it could be nothing. But of course, he is a professional. Didn’t he still perfom after his hand badly injured in HK concert years ago?

the way i see it, the crew just liked rain a lot – this particular anecdote just gave them a chance to praise him. it’s not so much an issue that rain was in intense, crippling pain and *still* finished the shoot, but more ‘aww isn’t he so professional? just another reason to love him some more’ 😛
actually, i’ve noticed a lot of the staff rain works with like to put in a good word for him. says a lot about him, doesn’t it, that he makes such an impression on everyone 🙂

@ Alex, Stephe already said this….And also since I’ve known entertainers myself their is such a thing as a contract were as you can’t talk bad about the person. Not to say their would be anything bad to say about JiHoon, and bravo for the staff I LOVE that they TALK UP JiHoon!
Cause from my way you keep to month SHUT! Loyalty means EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!
But I also work in the health field and a cuts just a cut!
