We pick up in the middle of the ADIEU! 2010 rehearsal for “Fresh Woman” with the really fun JumboTron graphics of a cartoon city that never sleeps. (YongDeock is sporting the heck out of that young hip Korea haircut with the sides buzzed clean. Looks so cute on him.)
Ah! The new Fresh Woman Disco-down dance break! Love that sexy choreography.
These RAINY DAY episodes are straight-up evidence of just how much goes into seemingly effortless-looking shows. I mean, Heavens to Betsy, just when you think a million kinks have been worked out, here comes one more. Without patience and stamina, there is no way to survive this process. It’s a good thing Rain and the Crew have plenty of that to go around. “This is Hip Song, rock tonight…” I like the casual way Rain brings the song in with his boys before the music starts… it’s very pep rally-ish and gets everybody hyped up before the band kicks in.
If Rain was water in a faucet (eh, did I really say that? If “Rain” was “water”… LOL), he’d be running alternately hot and cold in this episode. One minute he’s deep in thought and only marking the steps, and the next he’s full out jitterbugging to whatever. Hmm, to be a fly on his wall, privy to whatever he was thinking during that whole time…
Next, we get a little bit of “Don’t Stop” before launching into “Love Song” with Rain and mic rising out of the stage floor by spring-loaded elevator. (Oops, call the sound EMTs because his head mic is down for the count.) I must say I grinned all the way through this part. It was just so… precious. From him trying to make his NY Bling ball cap stay down over his voluminous poodle-do, to the adjustments to his retro mic, to dropping in and out of his “Love Song” character at will and comparing abs with the Gori-fied one on the Big Screen… it was almost as if Rain had put his “eternal” cameraman out of his mind and was simply living in the moment. And we got to watch him do that. Cool.
Oh-em-gee, here comes the treat of a lifetime… “Nan” in rehearsal! Look at that. The Man’s spine is elastic, the way he’s moving it around, and—
*gasp* *rewind and replay* ♥ *rewind and play again* ♥ ♥ Well, all right, JiHoon. Minute marker 10:37 is worth two snaps and an Irish Creme on the rocks, yo. What are you trying to do, make me speak in tongues? @__@
And on that lusty note, I am out of here, fans. There’s some Irish Creme in my refrigerator that’s calling my name. Whew. Until next Saturday…! 😛

i do miss rain long hair as well it suit him more and make him more who he that how i see in rain though!! but no doubt that he alway kill his look and put his style in good looking no matter he tranfrom but i honestly wish he can HURRY UP!! and grow his hair back i am regret his cut his all the time of curse that me right their!
he look so young like a boy next door everythime he did his rehershal doesn’t matter what it was for.
rain maybe a tille tuff but he wanted his stage to PERFECT in the righ pplace and righ perfroms.

rain keep change his step and different perfrom of most his concert love about him.. all his LIVE Concert ate a hit to me !!
also not to mention he so who are today as producer but who are even much beeter afterall he out from JYP rain got to do what he supost too and i see he happy more then he in under his back dancer JUST SAYING!!

I had to laugh at the Love Story section, it was like a magic act how that POOF of hair with disappear under the hat and then POOF reappear, it made me giggle.
I agree the hair was no mistake from Rain’s stand point he did it for SOME reason but I’ll never understand it, and I am so glad he went back to the straight hair. I don’t even like to look at the Adieu concerts and pictures because of the hair. In fact I doubt I have more than a few photos saved from that tour just because that hair did nothing for me. Oh well years from now he’ll look back and ask … “What was I thinking???” And laugh.

I think you are right, at this time in the game Rain asks, jump and everybody says, How high? He is the boss and everything goes as he likes it even his hair and outfits. For every day outfits and press conferences, etc. I guess he has some stylist who helps him bringing clothes and probably he chooses whatever he wants to wear. I don’t think he has the time to go to stores except when he is on vacation in other countries. I really enjoy seeing him doing rehersal cuz here you see him as he is, doing what he loves and preparing everything for us, his fans. I feel honored and to me is fascinating to see him work. You can tell that he enjoys every minute of it. That intro to Nan is amazing and you can’t take your eyes from him. I love to see him go tru those moves. He almost gave me a coronary in this one!!! OMG!!! He left me breathless and hot!!!

Ya know… I’m a few minutes into this and I already have a few thoughts.
1. I KNOW I’m missing his longer hair when I’m thinking that his curly hair was so cute.
2. Baby face!
3. He sure does enjoy doing that dance break (and I love it too), coz he was barely dancing till then.
I have to agree w/ Stephe on his hair. I don’t think Rain does ANYTHING he doesn’t want to do anymore. Period.

Oh, rest assured that if he hadn’t liked that hair, Mr. Perfectionist never would have worn it in the show or on live TV for those interviews. Homie don’t play that. He would have had it changed so fast, his hair-stylist’s head would still be spinning. Heheheh!
