The Man in a CF where he won a fictitious Grammy in the States (filmed in Australia). He had mental flashbacks of this CF in the car on the way to the 2010 MTV Movie Awards last year, and was humbled and amazed to be there. 🙂

Yeah, I love the newsboy hats. He’s seriously making me want to pull out the ones I used to wear. I lost my mind with those things a few years ago. (SMILES)

    • @Jojo,

(SMILES) Country n Western duet…….I don’t know. I totally get that he could probably “tweak” his shows to appeal to a more diverse U.S. audience. However, I think for Bi he should stick to what comes natural for him and that’s R&B/Hip-Hop. He should definitely collaborate but with who’s Hot out there now. (i.e., Will i Am, Ne-Yo, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Christina Augilera [he’s worked with her before], Eminem…..heck even Cee Lo Green) These are performers that are at the forefront of pop (hip-hop) music culture right now and a collaboration with any of these individuals would get him HUGE musical exposure…..INSTANEOUSLY. I can even see him dueting with Rob Thomas and/or Carlos Santana. There’s a Michael Jackson/Carlos Santana collaboration on Michael’s last studio album, that was GROSSLY overlooked, because….well people weren’t feeling Michael at the time but it’s called “Whatever Happens”…..LOVE that song and I could see Bi doing this type of collaboration.

However, I think he wants to go the movie route first. Whatever he wants to do is cool with me though. I’m from Texas so I like Country n Western music too by the way. Heck, I like mostly all types of music, except Heavy Metal…….I’m lost on most of it, but I can appreciate a couple of “hair band” songs from the 80s (“Is This Love” from Whitesnake) but that’s about it.

      (SMILES)………………….

      • If he did something with Carlos Santana… I’d be a puddle on the floor. That would be something else!

Me too!…….I think be could/would go deeper “musically” if his public would allow that growth. Boy if only WE were in those record exec seats. I would SO not make any money, because I would put collaborations together that I wanted to see, the “market” be damned. I would make people say WOW never thought of that, but Damn they sound good together.

On second thought JoJo, maybe he could pull off that C n W “collabo.” I forgot about the Nelly/Tim McGraw collaboration. But it would SO have to be somebody with a “pop feel” like Keith Urban or Rascal Flatts. Carrie Underwood has a pop feel too, but I don’t know about that “collabo”, Why?….not sure, I can’t put my finger on it.

          Anyway………………………

      • hamsa hamida BiAlamode. seriously are you like SK or asisn? I find sometimes comments are taken too seriously from certain readers. Lighten up. I’m proud that Bi likes my peoples music. Especially being Asian and SK which historically never favoured us Afrikans (spelt that way for a reason). He’s got a fantastic voice for R&B sure. The artist you recommended are, yah, high end, but did you seriously consider the compilation, or the colabo’ in other (slang) words. It’s all about the sound and the artist. you have to see where they ‘mesh’. And like I said, country and western isn’t bad. I gather you have never heard of ‘country pop’ or ‘country hip hop’ eh lol. The dudes a musician, he’s gotta be diversified. If he’s gonna stick with hiphop, then to get good audience he should write music for other genres. You an artist you should know, if you don’t know, now you know, ‘word up!’ Okay last point. JYJ has a hard ass tune feat’ kanye west and kwalib— I rock it everynight, i love the video also. but, the comments from the SK-Asian community about the song how its sung and the ‘colabo’ sucks royally. Sure they probably don’t represent the ‘majority’ of the JYJ fanclub… but seriously, bad news travels faster and stays around longer than good news. On that note i won’t repeat any of what was said about the tune. so, I’m going back to listen to ‘hip song’ Bi right now. Jal Ga!
oh, and by the way, i’ve been tweeting that Bi and Ciara should do a concert and a colaboration together for a yr now, don’t none of y’all say anything to that huh! peace♥검은 비 평화
