[fan cam][Eng trans] Rain for MENtholatum in Shanghai.
— Cloud cover by: Stephe, Managing Editor ^@@^
Cool charisma indeed! Check out this terrific fan cam from the MENtholatum press conference in Shanghai yesterday. It was a lucky fan indeed who shot this puppy! Agreed? And as we’ve previously said, JiHoon makes a white shirt look like it’s worth a trillion bucks.

Now I’m in the midst of a concert tour, and I’ve already performed in Beijing. At the concert, the audience response was very positive. I’d like to thank all those who came to see my concert.
2:20~2:39
My concert will be held in Guangzhou soon, and there is no plans to hold a concert in Shanghai, but if there is a request from you, I will do my best to live up to your expectation.
2:52~3:01
I’m now planning to hold my concert in many other countries as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan. Please request the concert (?)

Maybe we could do a massive drive on Twitter or Facebook. Were we pick a day or days and send him a twitter message asking him to tour in the US. I am not sure if he will be able to squeeze a tour in the US before he go into the MS. However, he would at least know maybe that he has alot of fans in the US that want to see him in concert. I was just thinking out loud, not sure if this is a good idea or not. I was thinking like how Betty White fans campaigned to get her on Saturday Night Live on Facebook. What do anyone think?

Actually that is a great idea I think Twitter would be best to reach him directly we could so a really simple line like
Rain – Please bring your tour to America – Love CloudUSA
But only do it for a very short period of time so that we don’t annoy him just let him know how important it is to us. (And yes I’d find a way to get there if he said yes)
If it was done on facebook I’d say do it on the J Tun Camp page again so we’d be sure someone would see it.
Great idea Flower

Dulcie,
Cloud USA does send Rain tweets now and again, but only important ones. Although, how many of him he actually sees and reads is unknown, of course. But honestly, if we had over 108,000 followers, it would be absolutely impossible for us to see every single tweet. It’s even hard for us to respond to people and we only have 449 followers. I can’t imagine.
We have also sent messages to JTune Camp. But again, the same problem applies.
What really would help is if you do see Cloud USA tweet something directly to Rain, that means we think it is really important and we think he should see it. So, if you would RETWEET that news to him again yourselves, then he is bound to see somebody’s tweet somewhere. That would be very appreciated.
So, that being said…do you want us to tweet something like that to Rain for you and then have everyone retweet it to him? And then spread the tweet out to all of your networks and ask your friends and supporters to retweet it also?
After all, he did say recently in an interview if anyone wanted a concert to please ASK, didn’t he? :-}

@Terri I am the one who suggested in the post above that we ask Rain by tweeting him. Even though I suggested we contact him this way I am not really all that twitter savy. I am not understanding what would be the difference if individual fans tweeted him verses the same fans retweeting a message sent by Cloud USA asking him to have a concert in the US. Can you clarify how the two are different? How would it increase his chances of seeing the request?

Good for you, flower.
There’s no difference, except then he would know you were a part of our Cloud USA community. That’s all.
Do either/or. Doesn’t matter.
But let’s not bombard him, please. How annoying that would be. Just tweet to him whenever you think about it, now and again, in different ways. Tweet every day, several times a day if you like, but not too much.
There’s no science to this…

hmmmmmm My thoughts where if we all tweeted at least once in say an hour or two span with the exact same line he’d be more likely to notice it.
BUT that being said he probably gets hundreds of tweets every day if not more and he still might not notice them by the next time he checks twitter. If he does at all I think he just might go on to post and not really read the tweets, if I had that many I wouldn’t be able to keep up either.
Then What about J Tune Camp? If we all went on and posted a similar line on individual posts not under comments wouldn’t they spot it quicker …. a I mean more quickly. (good grammar)
I still think it’s a good idea we just have to figure out which way is more likely to get us noticed.

With over 100,000 followers, it would be a miracle if he noticed at all.
Like I said, even I don’t have time to read all of our tweets all the time, and we only have 400+ followers. I would imagine he does a very quick scan and reads what he can.
He is a celebrity. So, he basically uses his Twitter to promote himself by sharing tidbits directly with his fans. I’m sure he enjoys that, and it’s nice and all, but he certainly doesn’t have time to think about it too much, much less read every single tweet.
Again, I say, just tweet as often as you can (and not look insane) and let that be it.

@Dulcie I too was thinking that we should tweet the same message. I am just not sure what is the best way to do it. Both suggestions by you and @Terri sound great. Maybe we can tweet him on twitter the way @Terri suggested and also go on the J Tune Camp site and post the way you are suggesting. Maybe we can pick one day each and do it on each site. I am not sure if this will be too much. What do you guys think?

Yes!!! We need more than one concert in the US cuz maybe you can’t go to one but you have another day to go or you can go to both. We need more chances to see Rain. Who’s the guy we have to talk to?

I don’t know, Mari, or I would have already talked to him.
We have certainly asked our contacts at The Cloud to inform him that it would be advisable for him to do a mini-concert tour over here in the U.S. before he leaves for his MS, but who knows if he ever got the word. He did include U.S. concerts in some of his comments during his Zepp Tour, saying that he planned to do that at some point, but that’s the last we’ve heard about it.
Frustrating now that his military service is coming soon. And I don’t know about you, but if I’m going to take off of work and be able to even go to a concert, I need as much advance notice as possible, don’tcha know?
Ji-Hoon!? Are you listening???

Too true that is one of the differences with Asian concerts and North American/Canada we usually get months of notice before a concert comes and Asia gets what a week MAYBE??? That’s a pain and I hope they don’t do that WHEN they come our way. (positive thinking)

Hmmmmmm Request a Concert??? I wonder if he’ll do one in my back yard? Eh?
Or at the very least maybe we should “request” (i.e. plead) for him to do one somewhere in the states so we all can attend and show him how nice we are. {wink}

Dulcie,
How about more than 1 concert in the U.S., please?
I mean, with the economy tanked and gas and airline tickets being so expensive and all, I sure do home he spreads the wealth a bit…if you know what I mean.
