비느님ㅋㅋ 레드머플러촬영때문에 타배우들과 같이 참모총장님 만나셨는데 비느님이 참모총장님 어깨에 어깨동무를 해서 비느님 가고 난 후 부대에서 일대 소란이 일어났었데요ㅋㅋㅋ 그 모습을 지켜보던 그들이 보기에는 쇼킹했었나봐요ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ어떡해욬ㅋㅋ
The cast of movie ‘Red Muffler’ including Rain met the Air Force Chief of Staff to rerange their schedule to fim the movie.
At that time, it was said Rain put his arm around the chief’s shoulders, just conversationally.
After Rain left, that caused the air unit to be thrown into an uproar because it was probably the most shocking thing that had ever happened to the soldiers. That’s awful ㅋㅋㅋ

oh gosh rain what happen hee poor baby they should know better to be treat rain like that rain who not yet in MS and then they already give him a** man rain have beeen apporicated wht he can do for his work and trying to get thing right but the man have get to the full training and of what happen they all look and took as a well know train of him
please they should know beeter to have rain on that and then the other they should not took this as offense rain as for rain his is a gesture and firendship to anybody among him i just hope rain put his training more cosuion and not having them look embraces on what he did !!

@ Chisun I also agree with you, but my first though when I read this was He** he should have kissed his A** and maybe they wouldn’t put him in. ( sorry just had to go there). But yes that would cause way to many more problems.

I have to believe that it’ll be just fine. It’s probably already blown over as we speak. Surely the soldiers realized that it was just an innocent reflex or something, and they and the chief had a secret chuckle after the initial shock wore off.
Besides, JiHoon is admired a hell of a lot for who HE is over there, and was probably given the benefit of the doubt right off.

there they go again…blowing things out of proportion, he meant to be friendly, he is not a soldier so how can there be any disrespect??…once he goes in he’ will learn those things but as of now leave him alone, he must have been really grateful to the man to hug him so amicably to show his thanks, I hate it when they think he does things carelessly, he does not..love you BI!!! ‘}

agree with you, That’s Rain, he has a sweet and warm heart, I just don’t understand why this became issue, it’s not matter of manner, love you more Rain!^^

Oh my, poor baby!!! He’s not in MS yet and already they are giving him the “ranking kick in the a**. Common, they should give him a break!! Rain is a civilian, probably was nervous, filled with emotion and only wanted to show his appreciation. The movie staff should have a contact with the Military staff and they should give Rain advice in this kind of thing so he can do his work properly. I hope the chief of staff don’t take offence in that. Shezz!!

hmm…seems to me the soldiers were shocked that rain treated their chief of staff so casually. he would have meant it in a friendly way, but im guessing in the army all ur really supposed to do is bow or salute (to ur seniors at least) – especially to someone as important as air force chief of staff…
i’m not sure if it’s due to the translation but the account def seems to suggest jihoon was wrong to do so (when she said ‘just conversationally’ that seems to imply that he only meant it innocently but that it was a mistake on his part. plus authority and clear distinctions between the ranks so to speak are always big themes in the army)
anyway, hope this doesn’t cause problems for him later on, (rumours + press = danger!!) but even if it does, he can be sure we’ll always support him! ^_^

Yes, I’m thinking the same thing. Usually everything is more formal in the military, with certain protocol that must be followed, and especially in the presence of higher ranking officers. Well, in the end I hope the Air Force Chief of Staff chalks it up to exactly what really happened, which was nothing more than “a civilian” (who is unfamiliar with their military codes and etiquette), extending a very nice gesture of friendship/appreciation to him.
Rain on the other hand will learn soon enough about all the military requirements, especially after he starts his MS. My guess is that this incident has already gotten back to him, as one learning experience, and maybe has given him a bit of a chuckle… with a combination of some apprehension… now that he realizes what he did.
I’m not surprised though, that’s are Babe (JiHoon), extending a warm gesture of friendship and appreciation to those that he works with….

My guess is it has to do with a junior/senior thing, maybe. Juniors don’t treat seniors casually in public like that, especially when they’re strangers. In my mind, that would be like me walking up to the Pope in front of his Cardinals and everyone while he’s holding holy Mass in the Vatican, and giving His Holiness a big hug and a high five.
Hopefully someone will shed some light on it…

I hear you. It’s almost like when Michelle Obama put her arm around Queen Elizabeth. Katie (Purplezest) could probably shed some light on the breach in protocol there. I understand what it means to have protocols in place, but really if the person who was embraced didn’t think it was a “travesty” then I would venture on to say these were honest mistakes and no one was the worse for wear because of it. Beyond that, is people turning a mole hill into a mountain (IMO).

First I want to say I may be reading this incorrectly. However, when they say it threw the air unit into an uproar because it was shocking, what does that mean? Did they laugh at him? Did they think his friendlyness was a little too touchy for a man to do to another man? Basically did they conclude in their mind that he was gay? Whatever thier reasons were I think it is a shame. I feel offended for Rain. A man should be able to be friendly toward another man without other men automatically jumping to conclusions as to what that man is or not. I wonder do Rain know how they reacted after he left. I hope he did not but if he did I hope he was not offended. After reading something like this happen. I hate to say it but Rain probably is going to have to hold back on his normal friendly ways when he enter the miiitary. Because his friendly gesters maybe taken the wrong way. This is just a shame!
