Blast from the past #50: Escaping the sun in Rainism attire.
Enjoy this KBS TV1 performance that came in the latter part of 2008, during the time our Magic Feet returned to the S.Korean stage full force and released “Rainism,” after being away from singing because of Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin.
Check out the way he sings “Escaping.” The way he ad-libs during the song and changes up the notes whenever the mood hits him is just further proof of how well he’s learned to command his voice over the years. Just listen to that. And notice how people are figuratively (and probably literally) sitting on the edges of their seats, watching him. Half the time they can’t even blink. They were welcoming their Hollywood star back, and they were just thrilled. 🙂
And then he speaks to the audience with such a humble demeanor… though he is bigger than bigger than BIG. ♥
And THEN you get a “Love Story” simply out of this world. Stellar.

the man very know what he doing as singer & dancer he is number prop and K-pop in Asia he bought HIGHT QUIATTLY intetion to S.Korean sensation music world .
when ever he stood up the stage the adimtly crying for him and yell for his JUNG JI HOON for please and excited they love him for whoi give such unforgetable stage and perform ever..
i very love his style and his beauitful hair color and hair in here the way he sing ..LOVE STORY..!!
got me my heart pumpping all along his lip when he scream on that song i just mely away. :P)

Rain always delivers amazing performances and his voice is perfect in each one of them. He always sings, even in rehersals and that is something that few performers do. Most of them keep their voices for the show but he is a perfectionist and he likes to go tru every step so everything goes as it should be. That’s why Rain’s concerts are amazing and with such high quality.

One question for anyone who can answer me. When Rain uses a backing track (I think this is what it is called) when performing his songs (example: him singing Love Story in the video posted) is the enitre song being played and he just sings over it? Or is only the back ground parts being played that he does not sing? I hope this make sense.
