I can bet you money that his black voice teacher waaaay back in the day coached him with some Al Green. I’m just guessing, of course, but that’s done a lot. Al’s vocalizations are a very popular tool. I remember Timberlake saying that his coach taught him with a lot of Al Green, and she was a woman. Ha.

I so agree with you about versatility. That’s one thing I’ve always loved about Madonna, that she always reinvents herself. That’s also one thing I love about Rain.. He’s daring and not afraid to try new things. I change my hair a lot too so I think it’s cool that he tries new things. There have been a few of those 60 styles that he might not want to try again, though… lol.

I know how you feel, girl! At first sight of him with the new hair, I was like “Oh what the hell?!” lol…But then it grew on me. I’m still waiting to see close up pics of it styled and stuff, like Terri said, to make my final judgement (not that he cares one way or the other). It has no bearing on how I feel about Rain though, ya know? I just like to put my two cents in coz I’m nosy and opionated. And if Rain asked me (yeah right), I’d tell him that I prefer his hair either dark and long (mandarin style anyone??) or Rainism style (yum!!!). I like his hair in the pic above… Hell, I like his hair a lot of ways.

All I have to say is I don’t care how he wears his hair (although I do prefer it his natural color and LONG).
But on this new do, I think I’ll reserve judgment until we get some crystal clear pics of it. I mean seriously, all of those pics of him on the street were sort of blurry, weren’t they?
I wanna see what it looks like when he’s all styled up for a CF or his concert. And then I’ll say whether or not I like it.
(But I think I’m gonna like it…)

i have known rain from his RAINISM style from the begining and yet pass on to his sexy perforamcer and styles to a very definely look of him but one it come across the blond or short i am a bit shock of his seeing it i guess i have not get use to look for that short and bloand and barid of rain look but i have to say and regret that i never like rain in blonde but sent i know rain is type of person who have his haie to much i guess i have to aceept the fact of it and yes it hit me but what can i do but to like and acept even though it not my what i expeted but i am not going to keep this in mind again so let just this slide and love the rain and keep the guy as like stephe say he is human being like other too and for me i could not judge anything about this either but what u told me it surly pick me up alot and busybee1982 that is ture that rain keep u and rest of us inters of him and alive and to me i very adimre rain abilty hardowking and humble person are that is the ture and sweeties thank u for give a headup of really life and reailty are and i am fine with him look now rain is rain and i still love him for who is and that hair too he look cute and younger i would keep this in mind anymore so let be happy and love our rain right!!

I must chime in too. This new do is not bad, not my favorite….but hey all celebrities re-invent themselves. Some re-invent themselves with each new album. Case in point Janet Jackson and Madonna. Both of them had new hairdos with each new album. So it’s all good! I too LOVED the Rainism hair, by the way. (SMILES)

Don’t worry about that kind of thing, dear. I wouldn’t hate you or anyone because they didn’t like Rain’s hair. That would be really immature of me; everybody has their own preferences. (I couldn’t stand those blond streaks he had back during the Bad Guy era, no way, though I can look at videos of him with them all day and be quite happy, thank you very much LOL)
I am glad you’re getting over it, though, because there’s no sense in torturing yourself over something like that. Rain should be able to wear his hair whatever way he wants to — he’s a human being who has preferences just like the rest of us. If it makes him happy and it’s not illegal, then I’m good. LMAO And there’s no taking away from his hotness.
Incidentally, I LOVED the burgundy-colored Rainism hair. Loved it!

I think he looks cute. Is not my favorite color in him but still as handsome as ever. I like him with blonde highlights too. When he did Bad Guy and Handshake he was really cute. What I don’t like too much is the braids but still he was cute. Rain looks handsome no matter the style.

i think Clouds are being scattered all over the place trying to keep up with these polls. i’m voting wherever i can, when i can in the most meaningful polls, but there are so many running at the same time, i can’t remember this happening before. how about you?

Well it’s not my fave hair color but it is still the same man with different dye job! He’ll get bored of it eventually. It makes him look super cute and young though, better than when he last dyed it blonde. I bet there were tons of people that hated his bright red/purple/auburn Rainism hair (which I loved). He’s probably having some fun with it before he goes into the military. Will he have to get a buzz cut there like they do here when people go to boot camp? Or do they not do that anymore? It’s been yrs. since I lived near military presence.

poor kongsao. i remember the last time, hahahaha (you were in a state of shock about the change Rain made to his hair. so you don’t like this one either? now don’t forget, all of his hair styles are posted somewhere on the net (60 different ones last time i checked). and i really think he does this because he knows conversations are gonna start about his changed style. but, this is one of the things that keeps my interest about him. he is daring and doesn’t have a problem trying something we would never think he would do. i adore his ability to stay so versitle. don’t fret to much sister Cloud. he’ll change it again.
