  1. plus, i gotta tell you i wasn’t too impressed with this show, except for Rain’s appearance. just seemed like those groups were all over the place with no one truly in step with any body. how many were in that Japanese girl group? (my eyes got crossed), so i had to stop watching. Boa seems to have toned down a bit and has added some US flavor to her routine. not feeling that to much. (just me i guess) i used to like her. OMG! i thnk Rain has spoiled me AND MADE ME BIAS. omo, omo. whey? whey? hahahaha

  2. yeah Steph, i agree. so much pressure they would collapse. look i remember another artist a few years ago who mimicked one of Rain’s stage entrance scenes. poor guy got splattered all over the newspapers along with Rain. the article defined Rain and the other guy and said then, no comparison. in short they were chiding the guy for trying to copy Rain. i think the MC of this show shouldn’t have said that because then folks started watching to see how good he was. he missed the mark terribly. you’re right about those here in the US too. that’s what turned me off. too many doing the same thing. to be honest i see the same thing happening with some of the kpoppers too. i think that’s why i admire Rain and became a fan because he dances to his own drumbeat, really unique.

  3. I honestly couldn’t believe that when I heard it. O_o

Truly, it’s a shame how people in the industry do that and put so much INSURMOUNTABLE pressure on an artist. I remember how they did that to ChungLim, proclaimed him the “next Rain” because of that amazingly deep speaking voice he had that drove the women wild, and while he is very tall, plum gorgeous, and talented, he is no Rain and isn’t going to be. But oh, the PRESSURE knowing that people were expecting him to live up to JUNG JIHOON (good lord! like that’s gonna ever happen) had to have been awful!

I wish people would stop doing that (here in the U.S. as well). It’s really disturbing, and with all the suicides that happen already, it’s not a very bright idea either.

  6. I used to fly all the time but I’ve had a couple bad experiences, so for me to fly anywhere now it would have to be with JiHoon or for him and then I better be close to being passed out. hahahahahaha
