Revisiting May 2008: Rain comforts China earthquake victims, from Berlin.
May 12, 2008 became a day of unimaginable horror for the people of Sichuan, China, when a Magnitude 8.0 earthquake struck and killed nearly 70,000 people.
Though in Berlin, Germany filming Ninja Assassin, Rain sent aid and tried to send comfort to the victims and the nation.

Hello everyone, I’m Rain.
I’m currently in Berlin filming a movie,
I’ve heard the news over here about the devastating earthquake happened in China.
I will also be putting in effort to share the burdens with you, praying that the victims will quickly recover and rebuild their houses and families.
I hope that you could brace yourselves up!
Miiow Sports and Fuma Foods who co-operated with me have also offered a token of their goodwill and efforts.
With so many people caring for you,
I hope that you will keep on fighting!
Thank you.Chi-Eng translation: Ming
