MTV News 8/16/2010 — Sylvester Stallone says “Expendables” sequel is plotted out
When MTV News caught up with Sylvester Stallone at Comic-Con in late July, he professed more than a little nervousness about the possible fate of “The Expendables” at the box office. While Sly had hopes to shoot a sequel to his bombs-and-brawn throwback to ’80s action blockbusters, he wasn’t sure how everything would shake out and what his next project would be…
Now, it seems Stallone just might get the chance to shoot an “Expendables” sequel, after the first one opened to $35 million in ticket sales over the weekend. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter following the movie’s big opening, Stallone said he knows exactly the direction a sequel would take.
“It’s plotted out in my mind’s eye,” he said. “I believe this group has to continue to evolve; it just can’t become the same people. So how do you get new people introduced into the group, and how do you have some of the other people leaving? Those are the challenges.” …

Now THIS is what I’m talking about!!!…….Just like I mentioned yesterday Stephe!!….and (@lotus6000) I absolutely agree. If BI wants to break into the American market, then he’s got to “strike while that iron is still hot.” The American attention span can be short, so while people still have the “Biggest Badass” on their minds, you need to be on a BIG SCREEN in the U.S. This will not only make your U.S. Clouds EXTREMELY HAPPY, but your dream goal of opening American Doors to Korean artists will become realized……..C’mon BI, do this for us Babe!!!!

If Rain was in The Expendables I would definately go see it. I am a big Jet Lee and Jason Statham fan so I may still go. it would be a lot better if Rain was in it though. Maybe the sequel, though. One can only hope…

Stephe, I differently agree but then I wanted him in the original also, this will be a great opportunity for BI and I really hope he takes advantage of it with his name Rain attached to it, it will make even more money, BI if there is in any way possible please make this happen this will bring you so many more hollywierd adventures and I know this will be great for your American adventures so please give this great thought! You keep saying you want to break into the American market this could make that happen in a major big way, sly maybe old but not forgotten or washed up as you can see majority of his movies were and still are big money, come on JiHoon do this PLEASE!! And I don’t know your obligations but if There’s a way?
