yes i was with amber we very have true amazing advanture together but come to ariport everbody ar different look out for rain whiches it my first day in LAX airport i have no clues what very happen but at the last monment i did see rain glimpse wearing and smile and waying his hand to us before he head of to korean it was unbeliveable experince i and aber have together so i think i am gok enought for this just hope next time i get a beeter cloes up and face to face greetig rain again i am taking a deep breath here 😦

Stephe, and Clouds, thank you for all your info b4 I flew to LA to see Rain. Got so busy that I didn’t get a chance to thank all of you.
I am so disappointed that didn’t have any Rain fancam or pics that I can show you. I also wish that I had that woman’s guts that took pic of him. Let me tell you what happened…
We were unfortunate that none of us Clouds saw Rain arrived at the LAX. While waiting, Michelle kept texting me to go to the baggage claim and I told her that the baggage claim for Int’l flight is inside. I didn’t realize that there is a VIP exit right next door. I felt so sad for his fans that were there since 8AM and didn’t want to leave even after we told them that he had exited the VIP door. There were also other clouds that had brought fruit baskets, balloons, etc. but left earlier cuz they got tired of waiting. Has there been an explanation as to why he didn’t show himself to us? Whatever the reason is. I do understand.
Again, I had the opportunity to see him at the Amphitheater if I went with the other Clouds but I didn’t want to leave my other Cloud friends behind.
Lastly, my flight back was Monday 6/7/10 @12:50 and lo and behold, Rain was leaving the same day. You would think this is the chance I’ve been waiting for. There were only 8 of us that showed up. Some Rain fans said that he doesn’t like getting his pics taken and that we should wait inside to give him his space and privacy. That’s exactly what we did. We waited from 9AM till around 11 or so when a black Land Rover pulled over at the curbside. I had goose bumps and I didn’t know why. Saw an Asian guy wearing orange shirt that came out with another guy. No Rain came out so we watched them checked in a lot of luggage. Didn’t notice that one of us went outside. I saw her looking at the car and I wanted to go out but didn’t cuz I thought she would have jumped up and down and called us if Rain was inside the car. Besides, everybody else was inside waiting and I didn’t want them to say anything. The car must have been parked outside for almost 20 mins or so. When Joy came back inside she said that Ji-Hoon was in the car. When she said that, I looked but the car was gone. We raced towards the other door but Rain was already at the security gate. The other clouds said he walked so fast and nobody dared to call out his name. We only saw a glimpse of him. He was wearing a white shirt with sunglasses. He had that glow… like a halo…so adorable! Not sure if he even saw us. I hope he doesn’t think that he didn’t have anybody there to see him off.
I’m still having a hard time accepting this. I was there and didn’t have the guts to follow my instinct and not worry about what others would have said if I went up to see who was inside that Land Rover. If I had seen him inside, I would have asked if he could sign my B2TB album that I brought with me and also asked if we could take a pic of him. What if he had obliged? I would have also told him that he didn’t need to be scared of any other fans cuz we were it. All that time that his car was parked outside, what if he had talked to us after realizing that there are no other Clouds there. What if he had taken a pic with us? If he wasn’t in the mood to do any of these, I would have understood but at least I tried. We could even have followed him get inside the airport towards the security gate. I could have had a lot of his pics and fancam to show you… if only I had the guts of that woman at Incheon Airport. Not that I will go up to his face and do that…of course not. I would have asked first. I believe that this was my once in a lifetime opportunity and I blew it. Someday, I’ll see him at a concert or fan meeting but with the rest of his hoard of fans…unlike at the airport where we could have had a moment with him…just a few of us. I can’t shake this feeling off but in time I know I will. This “what if”, “could’ve and would’ve” is still bugging the heck out of me… 😦 Now, what would you have done if you were in my shoes?

Dear Amber, it’s okay. You didn’t blow it, and Rain will come back to give us all another chance to see him. I truly feel this. You did your best. Be proud! Good grief, you were sharing the same space with him! 😀
I probably would have done the same thing you did. I believe in finding that line between seeing Rain but not bum-rushing him (now Terri’s different, I do believe she would have gone up to that car like she owned it LOL). And it is a fine line, and not an easy one. It’s not easy to know exactly what to do in a situation like that, especially if it’s the first time it’s happened to you. So don’t be so hard on yourself. I so envy you (in a good way, hah!) 🙂 And if Rain didn’t know anyone was there, he certainly does now and it warms his heart.

Glad you’re home safely. Rain will be back, trust that. And we’ll all be even more prepared then. (Pssst… between you, me, and the lamp post, I think his attempts to get a foothold here in the US are being undermined by persons unknown. Too many things have happened where possible interactions with US fans have “gone awry.” But then that is just my view.)

Amber, what really kind of bothers me about your story is that I’ve heard other accounts where a Cloud, who went out to Rain’s car at LAX, intentionally didn’t tell other fans that he was in it until it was gone and he was at the security gate. Is that true? Or am I reading the wrong thing into that?

Thanks Stephe, and yes, that’s true and I did talk to her and asked why she didn’t call me. Maybe she was too starstruck? Cuz i would have called the other 6. Goodness, we were a small group..we could all have shared Rain..hahaha! But I believe it was only the 3 of us that didn’t know what’s going on. The other 3 even saw him walked past the security gate without much of a wave to us. Not sure what their intentions were but i know now that we would just have to take care of ourselves. They had seen him more than once and that was my first so I listened to their suggestions. Much that I don’t want to admit this, I think everybody is only looking out for themselves…and i think it’s sad. 😦
Stephe, about posting my comments, by all means. You can reword it if you want cuz i am not a good writer as you guys are. I sometimes just typed without thinking ahead and proofreading. =)

Clouds are supposed to be different than other fans in that they take care of each other because that’s what Rain would do himself. Not good.
