Escaping the sun–triple time.

It is true that, when it comes to tiny accents and nuances, Rain never does the same song the exact same way twice.  However, when it comes to the overall picture, we have discovered (as you surely have) that, no matter how much time may pass, his timing on those songs never wavers (probably because he does them in his sleep).  Remember » fan made Double Your Pleasure, and how it really illustrated that point?  Well, this one goes even further and shows, from its beginning, how incredible Rain’s timing over the years truly is.  And when the rap came in, we just stared.  We are amazed by this man.  — Stephe ^@@^

Escaping The Sun, three performances. The Bad Guy era, the It’s Raining era, and the I’m Coming era.  Great job, lunaluna!  (credit & edit: lunaluna / courtesy of eye0rain)

  1. Unbelievable.

Every time I see one of these fan-mades, I’m even more incredulous.

One of the hardest things a musician has to do is perform live. In a studio it’s easy to sound spectacular, but on stage, when it’s just you, the music, and the microphone (and maybe a few back-up dancers), then you sure as heck better know your stuff.

In my humble opinion, Rain knows his stuff better than most.

    Wowser.
