Rain will again patron Green Ribbon Hope.
Asian source EDaily has reported that Rain will attend the Green Ribbon Hope Walking Campaign in 2010, as he did last year. The event will be held at Children’s Grand Park in Seoul on the morning of the 9th, and will include stories of hope to comfort the families of missing kids. Rain will make a charitable contribution on the behalf of many other sports stars and entertainers who are also participating in the Stars Charity Auction.
This is the third year in a row that this event has been held, in May, with EDaily and the Childrens Foundation (of Korea) as organizers. It calls attention to the plight of missing and exploited children.
(Thanks to rain bird and Rain Europe for this information.)
As it is around 7:30 am on the morning of the 9th in Korea right about now, this event should be kicking off within the next several hours. (It is being called the 3rd Green Ribbon Hope Walking Campaign, and EDaily’s article says the event has been going for three years, so I am assuming that when everyone was calling it the 3rd walking campaign back in 2009, that was an error.)
