Rain and Jun Ji Hyun to “Runaway” together?

It is being reported this morning, by at least one news source, that actress Jun Ji Hyun (Blood: The Last Vampire & Snow Flower and the Secret Fan) has been cast as the heroine in PD Kwak Jung Hwan’s and Chun Sung Il’s Runaway (Fugitive).
I’ve been desperately trying to translate the article, which appears in Sport Chosun, so please bear with me if some of the details are still muddled.
Apparently, she was a top choice not only because of her beauty and talent, but also because of her international work. However, it looks like there are still some schedule conflicts to work out, due to her movie Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, which is still currently in production. (and which also stars Hugh Jackman, another one of MY favorite actors. Just so you know…:-})
We’ll give you more on this news item later, as soon as we get it. Hopefully, this news will be solidly confirmed in the next few hours. In the meantime, you can just enjoy fantasizing about Ji Hyun and Rain appearing in a drama together.

i better go buy this movie (Blood). i’m a big fan of director Park’s films. i have Sassy Girl, but nothing that she has done recently.
i remember Rain saying he would want to do something with her, and that he visited the Park on the set during the filming of Blood, so i hope things work out for them.

Ah! Gianna Jun (her English name) will be playing opposite Rain? This woman was KICK-ASS in the film version of Blood: The Last Vampire! She played the part of Saya to a T (I had watched the entire anime series last year before seeing the live action movie).
Ooooooh… please let it be true. These two “running away” will be spectacular. *swoon*
