April a stellar month for Rain.
Asian news source Osen reports that Love Song, the title track (released March 30th) of Rain’s Back To The Basic special album (released for sale April 7th), consistently ranked number one on all of the online music charts last month—Dosirak, Mnet, Melon, Soribada, and Hanteo, to name a few. Hanteo (a company responsible for overall CD sales volume) has also reported that the Back To The Basic album itself ranked number one on last month’s charts.
According to Air Monitor and Chart Korea, Love Song has the April number one spot when it comes to broadcast show votes as well. Love Song also won a Cyworld Bronze award for being downloaded over 100,000 times on their sites. Rain completed his grand slam by dominating the April TV show charts of M!Countdown, Music Bank, and Inkigayo. He has performed Hip Song in support of Love Song on several comeback stages thus far, but in May, Hip Song will take center stage on its own.
