The pre-recording was done on the 21st, and Jae-Dong was in rare form, as usual. 🙂 You can be sure that if either he or Ho-Dong is hosting a show, Rain will be laughing. i think he’s dancing carefully, probably, because the there’s carpet on the floor which restricts his movements. but to hear him sing these two songs are a real treat. i have that Rainy Day concert and this guy’s voice is just so naturally lovely. on cd, live show IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER. and the “I Beleive I can fly” touched me as well, even as you say, he was not good at english, but the feeling you get from his performance of it, just made no difference. he was a newbe than, but he sang with such passion. as for pronoucning those “I’s” and “R’s”, i know i spent a little time practicing how to roll those r’s off my own tongue, hahahah but now his english is so much better and he sings these songs still with feeling and passion.

It’s one of my favorite things to listen to, Ceci… his old versions of that song. He couldn’t speak a lick of English, could not pronounce “l”s or “r”s to save his life, and yet he sang I Believe I Can Fly with such raw talent that you just didn’t care.
Just gorgeous, his voice.

I saw him singing I believe I can fly on You Tube and was just in awe of his beautiful voice. He never ceases to amaze me with his talent.
