Now Hyo-Ri’s parade has been Rained on as well.

SHOUTcast Radio Blog 4/16/2010 — ALLKPOP has reported that KBS, the largest Korean television network, banned KPOP queen Lee Hyori’s ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ music video because it features traffic violations. Mnet Media stated, “Reasons given [by KBS] include Hyori was seen driving a truck without her seat belt fastened on, dancers were dancing on top of the buses and Hyori and the dancers were dancing on the road. All these scenes were inappropriate and violate road traffic regulations….”

We would like to know where KBS was when the public needed saving in 2009.  And in 2008.  And in 2007.  And during the past decade.  Because none of the stuff in these music videos is new.

  2. You are forgiven, Purplezest. I feel ya.

As a writer, I have extremely passionate opinions about censorship, which I really don’t want to get into on this site. But now here is KBS skirting real close to one of my major hot buttons.

So, dear readers, please consider yourselves warned.

  3. OMG this is getting stupid – Arg well at least the real versions are still out ther – they should just stop showing them on KBS they are probably causing more annoyance then they are worth.

Now i feel compelled to go dance in the road because we have no KBS here to save the country from being idiots – they must come over and save us too i feel, sheeeeeeeeeeeesh, they won’t be the largest korean tv network for much longer if they keep p***ing everyone off with there stupid half ass reasons – ok mini rant over, i feel better now haha

please forgive my naughty language 😀
