  1. Im just asking, but i would think this being a message on his birthday cake it would be written in Korean. Why is it written in english? This is not the first time ive seen something like this where i would assume something would be written in korean, or japanese, and its got english written on it.

    • Hi, Laura. That is an interesting observation, and there is no telling why. Maybe an English-based bakery was the only one open at that time on the weekend? (the cake had to be a rush order because they were in the middle of traveling) Or maybe that’s just what he wanted. Who knows.

      In a roundabout way, this reminds me of how Rain signed Ninja Assassin posters for the movie premier in Japan, for Japanese fans, in English. Perfect English. Not in Japanese or Korean. Japan does seem like a country where an awful lot of written English is naturally used, so… *shrug*

      Like I said, interesting.
