HIS IDEAL WOMAN (Based on a variety of interviews from 2002—2010) :-}
- Wanted: Female—and very soon.
- Height: 168 cm, more or less.
- Hair: Long hair, long hair, long hair, long hair. Shall I say that again? This is a guy who likes long hair. Straight or permed, doesn’t matter, but it’s gotta be LONG. :-}
- Looks: Someone who is sexy. Someone who looks pretty even without makeup. Someone who looks pure and innocent. Doesn’t have to necessarily be fashionable, but should dress neat and cleanly. Someone who is “fit” (not model thin), even a little “chubby.” I think what he’s saying he wants is a woman who is a healthy size. We all know that skinny isn’t necessarily healthy and neither is fat.
- Fashion: Someone who can be fashionable, but who is comfortable wearing jeans and tee-shirts, sweats and sneakers. In other words, someone who doesn’t take hours to get ready to go out on a date, but who cleans up well. [Like me! Hahahaha. ^@@^]
- Nationality: Open. Apparently, his idea of beauty is rather international and rather broad.
- Age: A few years younger and 10 years older are both okay. Very vague on this issue. I don’t think it’s relevant to him, really. If you love someone, what does age matter anyway?
- Occupation: Okay, apparently Rain wants his wife to be available to him when he’s available. So, that means she needs to be either a student or a housewife. Sorry, career ladies, but that’s what he keeps saying. Maybe he’ll change his tune when he moves into his 30s.
- Salary: Any, doesn’t matter. He can afford you. Trust me on this one.
- Personality: A women who has a good, kind, beautiful heart (read: compassionate). Someone who is nice and gentle and willing to follow, but who is also comfortable leading. Someone who is confident. Someone who is “good” to him. Someone who, even if she’s really mad at him about something, if he says he’s sorry, she’ll forgive him. He wants someone who has a “dual” personality, in other words, someone who can be a lady on the street and a freak in the bed. :-} And you gotta be able to cook and clean well. (Okay, well that leaves ME out…darn it. :-})

Very nice post. I enjoyed reading RAIN’s words on love. I think RAIN will make a good husband and father. I like his thinking. Love – Love can be as good as you want it to be. When you love someone you will want to make that person happy. When you love someone, even when they make you mad sometimes you can forgive. Love is not one who is greedy, selfish. You don’t want things, but at the same time you don’t want to see others with it, some would rather throw them away or destroy them than to give them to others who would appreciate. Love is wanting to see your partner happy and make them feel happy to be with you. It is spoiling the one you love. A man and a woman should both make each other feel like their home is their castle. Love in a marriage does not have to start and die after a few years. The love will keep growing and always be there when it is true love and people work together to keep their love alive. What you have to remember is that when you do have someone who loves you and treats you good, hold onto them and appreciate them if in fact you say you love them, because once you lose someone or let them go, you can’t always get them back and even if they thought about giving a relationship another try, it just may not ever be the same again. So if you have found that special love my dear, hold onto her and treat her well. Do not let your mind stray from what is most important, love, peace and happiness, respect. The fame and material things can’t compare to what money can’t buy. Keep your love as most important, along with God and family and don’t allow others to tear it apart. Always remember that some don’t know true love, they don’t have a clue as to what it is or care about it. That is why so many wealthy and famous suicide and go to substance abuse. Love is not perfect all the time, but it can be great if you remember what is most important and keep in mind that others may not say it but they may wish they had the love that you do if you have found true love. Always thank God for your blessings, the things of most importance and treasure them. I wish you lots of love and happiness and success and peace in your life.

I am a huge fan of Bi Rain. WHAT A “CHARMER”! Rain is a wonderful person, I love his voice and I have great respect for his acting talent. I hope he and SHK end up together as well. This is the least I could do to let others know that I really admire the sincerity of Bi Rain. Well I think its really amazing if you already have good looks, talent and to add with such commendable emotional maturity. It’s one amazingly gifted guy. I just wish if somebody will have these gifts like Rain should channel it to the right way like the way he did. This is an outburst of admiration to Rain. i agree that Song Hye Kyo would be perfect for him to start a family. both had experienced failure in love, both are hardworking and good looking. He had been a lot with Lee Hyori lately but somehow they were not quite matched. I remember in one FH interview, SHK said she wanted a husband who can also be her friend and Rain had said a woman and a man (in another interview) can never be friends. But in one other interview, he admitted that SHK is his friend. Does he make an exception here for SHK? He also seemed uneasy during an interview where the location was the dating scene of FH. I wonder why? However, looking at how protective and concerned he was over SHK in FH fan meeting in China 2007, I think he had liked her a lot. Maybe at that time both were too busy to be together?? Hopefully, time has matured both of them to continue their friendship and later on love perhaps.Aja fighting…

Wow, wow, wow! That’s all I can say. Just WOW! And thank you so much for compiling so many of Rain’s/Jihoon’s quotes/sayings. I like knowing what his opinion is on those topics, but I find it interesting that he feels that a man and a woman can’t be “just friends” because I have quite a few male friends who I’m not romanctically involved with. I think it may be an age different; I’m 12 yrs older than Jihoon and I know a man and a woman can be just friends.

Rain was very young and only a few years past debut when he said that… and he was still carrying some baggage from unkind things that a girlfriend or two had done to him. I’m pretty sure that, as time has gone on and he’s matured, he has softened a lot on that stance and learned differently.
