It’s been about 9 years since I watched Rain’s 2002 Christmas Mission. I only watched it once and have not watched it again because after finishing it, I cried buckets and buckets. It hurt too badly. πππ I’ve finally watched it again after all this time, and I’m glad because I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed all the funny things too, and how much his hometown people loved him. So, if you think you can take it and you’ve got plenty of hankies, go for it! πͺ
THE MISSION: A 2002 reality TV show (that assigns celebrity missions) gave 8-months debuted Rain the task of somehow gathering 6000 people for an impromptu concert β in only 1 hour, on Christmas Day, in the town where he was born and raised. The concert was to be dedicated to his mom (the anniversary of her death is 2 days after Christmas). If he can’t gather 6000, the concert would be canceled on the spot. ^@@^
