1/16/2019. Celltrion Entertainment, the production company of Rain’s upcoming movie Bicycle King Uhm Bok Dong, released this movie poster with Rain completely in character and with an aging filter that references the early 1900s. ^@@^
The day after that, we saw why. I ran across many Korean news articles like this one that showed Rain and the real cyclist/freedom fighter Uhm Bok Dong triumphant, side by side. Nice recreation! *thumbs up*
Rain’s poster says (black lettering): The name that became the hope of 20 million Koreans. And (white lettering): Bicycle King Uhm Bok Dong. We’re so very proud of Rain for landing and accepting this amazing role. He more than deserves roles just like this! ^@@^
Just a little trivia: CELLTRI0N, a world-class biopharmaceutical giant, has many subsidiaries, among them Celltrion Entertainment (that produced Rain’s movie) and Celltrion Skincure, of which Kim Tae Hee (Rain’s wife) has been the spokesperson and model for at least four years.
