Of course, Rain isn’t old at all. He’s still a young man! He’s just above idol-age, which is supposed to mean “old.” Which is weird as hell and so much B.S., LOL!

On 30th December, Rain came to Singapore for his The Squall World Tour. Since it has been a while since he came for a concert in Singapore, it had fans all excited to watch their favorite performer performing again.

You know……I look at people aging like a vintage wine or like your favorite meal the day after, when the seasonings “sink in.” Most things and most people get better with age. There’s a certain “swagga” that comes with age, that only those of us who have past a certain point (age wise) understand. Rain is at that place in life (and he’s still a young blood in my world). He is comfortable in his own skin and most especially, he’s confident in his abilities as a performer and it shows. For him, performing is completely second nature and he makes it look effortless almost….now That is the level these “Kiddie-Pop” idols aspire to get to. They can only Wish they can get to where Rain is (career wise)…..no longer a “cookie cutter idol singer” but your own man/woman…..a well rounded, “Seasoned” performer who is the consummate professional.

For me Rain is still the best in his field some artists come and go , he was able to maintain his voice, his moves , his body and his charisma. He is still for me the best performer ever. And one thing I love about him is he really cares for his fans , i like it when he told the security to let us remain near the barricades to have a clear view of him. Actually , before that I am annoyed by the securities standing in front which obstruct my view of Rain, I am seated on the left most front area but there are two security guys standing in front which obstruct my view and i have to call their attention twice to move a bit. I am glad when Rain told those securities to allow us to be near the barricades. This is the best pre new year gift that I got for 2016. After the concert my adrenaline was so high that I can not sleep and if I have my way I would like to book a flight to Taiwan to follow him there but I have to restrict myself because my family will have new year gathering in Singapore and i do not want to disappoint them by my absence.
Rain may be a bit above idol age but we are talking of longevity here which proves that he is really a megastar. I pray for more success in his career not only as a singer/dancer but as an actor also. I am looking forward to the release of his new comeback cd, collaboration with other artists and hoping for a new romantic drama series, movies and other endeavor. It is also my prayer that he could also perform here in Manila, Philippines . More power to Rain and to all Clouds all over the world. God bless us all and Happy New Year. For someone who is suppose to be “OLD” he has certainly out lasted and out performed the youngsters. His dance moves are far more sexy.
