I tell you, while watching this Special Features segment from The Prince (2014) DVD, the color commentary from Director Brian A. Miller and actor Jason Patric (“Paul”) had me doubled over and in stitches. They are hilarious when Rain hits the screen. To boot, Miller cracked up and Patric groaned when Patric landed wrong and got his shoulder jacked by “Mark.” ROFL!

(Miller and Patric: “There is… precipitation.” [chuckles] “It’s a reference to Rain, Korean Pop star.”)

(Miller and Patric: “Forecast… heavy rain.” [chuckles] “I couldn’t let Tim die with just one shot. Had to give him another beat.”)

(Miller and Patric: “And… here goes the shoulder.” “Here goes purple Rain.”)

(“Shoulder destroyed right… THERE!” “Oooh!” | LMAO~ Sorry, Jason! ^@@^)

Dude, we’re talking Hardcore Rain In The Zone here. You’ve got to be ready for him if you don’t want to crash and burn. LOL~ (Glad you’re okay.)

This clip includes two segments, Capturing The Prince: Behind The Scenes and Commentary with Director Brian A. Miller and Jason Patric. I enjoyed both, probably a little too much. Have fun getting your “Mark” on, y’all. 🙂

See my previous post for information on where to buy The Prince on Blu-ray and DVD.

  1. Dot,

Sadly, the movie leaves much to be desired in many areas, including the editing.

Then again, Rain is in it. So, I suffered through it anyway–multiple times. LOL.

  2. Thank you for posting the behind the scenes, I have yet to be able to see the movie so it was nice to see at least that much. What I did discover was that the screen angles on this movie left much to be desired. It was like they were cutting off a chunk of the shot or it was missing or blocked.

Now I’ve only seen this small portion so I thought I’d ask you ladies that have seen it if your thought the same thing.
