By Snail Mail: It wouldn’t be a good idea to send Sergeant Jung JiHoon snail mail in the military at this point, seeing as he will be discharged next week and your letter will probably arrive after he’s gone. Just send everything to RAINY Entertainment HERE for now, until Rain has a chance to give us more information on CUBE Entertainment and exactly where he wants things to go, going forward.

SONG OF THE WEEK: “부산여자 (Busan Yeoja) Busan Woman”, the 2011 song that Rain recorded strictly as a gift to his fans before leaving for the military. The only place he has ever performed “Busan Woman” was during his Rain The BEST Show National Concert Tour stops, where the name of the city replaced “Busan” at each show. Needless to say, Clouds in Busan and across Korea were thrilled.^^ (He might have performed it at his Last of The Best street concert after that, but I’m not remembering at the moment.) Of course, the bottom-feeding Korean Media had a hand in ruining his gift by hurling charges of plagiarism as if a lawsuit had been filed somewhere by songwriter Raphael Siddiq, but as it turned out, a scuzzy newspaper had started the whole rumor and no trouble between Rain and Siddiq ever came about because, obviously, Rain had indeed taken care of his business. (We should NOT have let that news rag fool us like that.)

It is a wonderful song, and a favorite of this Atlanta yeoja. Always.

hi everyone! I’m so glade that the time is over in the army!! Rain is coming back =) and I hope, he will be saved and healthy!! I’m from Germany and rain’s music is so inspire to me.His songs are very soulful. I’m so excited of his comeback =)

I can’t believe the discharge day is so close now. I’m mad that the media has being trying to destroy his reputation and ruined his discharge day but i’m glad he will be back and make all haters eat their words.

Yes, I am really angry that Rain has served voluntarily with a superior record in all his testings on the field and acted mature in most of his contacts–perhaps Kim was the available contact back to base. Why try to prolong Rain’s service time due other servicemen lack of satisfactory performance I see a lot of BS being perpetuated with Rain and other entertainers. This the Gospel According to peachi747. Peace. Out.

- The event that was being built around Rain’s discharge day at the gate he’s going to come out of (with banners, donation garlands, etc.) was canceled, although fans are still being encouraged to be there to support him. (Rain’s official CLOUD Fan Community news, from South Korea.)
  
  We’re doing a video to congratulate Rain on his discharge from the military, here at Cloud USA, to post online. One doesn’t have anything to do with the other.

I’m a sucker for romance stories it’s true, but I often marvel at cross cultural romance like the story of the two on this link below. I saw their pic on my FB news feed and became curious. It still amazes me how peoples from diametrically different cultures actually come together despite All the obvious obstacles and still manage to fall in love. It totally amazes me….in a warm fuzzy way. I guess the statement “anything is possible” still rings true.

If y’all are wondering why we haven’t put up any more of these scandal articles, it’s because we haven’t seen Rain in any of the additional videos or the screen shots. At all. Nor has he been named in them, as far as we can tell, just used in headlines as usual.

All we’ve seen that is CONCRETE is that first video where he suddenly just comes into the footage out on the street and walks down the street. Doing nothing. That’s it. You couldn’t get him at the table eating, or drinking, or at LEAST walking OUT of the restaurant? Makes me wonder if he was even there or if he just showed up, which would have really pissed them off and screwed their “scandal” plans.

- dear stephe and terri, thank you so much for being such a comfort to rain fans. in my lifetime, i have not seen a celebrity combine artistry and creativity with such discipline and remarkable work ethic. now he is being portrayed as a slacker hedonist who just went on vacation for 2 years in the military. he is being crucified out there and it is truly breaking my heart, i tell you i’ve had a migraine for days…my thanks to all who belong to this community.

    The way Rain is treated after all he has done for S.Korea and for trying his best in the worst of circumstances is heartbreaking indeed. It hurts us very much, but we refuse to succumb to it because he needs us all more than ever before, now. Just hang in there!
    
    Rain is doing just that — hanging in there. He is so used to this. When all is said and done, he’s going to be okay and his haters are going to still be as pathetic and living little lives as they always have. Like roaches. LOL

    It is our pleasure. Truly, we are so angry. We can’t even begin to express how upset all of this is making us.
    
    For years, celebrities came and went, in and out, of the military. All of them…I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM…were granted the opportunity to celebrate at the gate on their military release day with family, friends and fans. They all had lovely celebrations, with a cake, gifts, etc. They looked like such joyous occasions. There are photos all over the place showing that.
    
    But now that it’s Rain’s turn to walk out of that gate, what happens? The Korean Media goes into crucifixion mode. The gate events being planned by his official fan club have been cancelled. Fans that are going to the gate to welcome him back anyway, regardless of what anyone says, have to worry about the Media pigs they are going to find there and have to avoid.
    
    And now he’s being asked if he should even SMILE? Seriously? What the hell is WRONG with these people? They are sick, sick, sick.
    
    Regardless of Cloud USA or any of our efforts here, Rain has impacted the world more than any star they have ever had come out of that country. I would go so far as to say that he has impacted the world more than even their Olympic athletes, whose names hardly anyone outside of Korea knows, except maybe Kim Yuna. And yet they still dare to treat him like this?
    
    All I have to say is: SHAME on you, Korea. SHAME ON YOU!

- Boy, netizens really trip on small/big eyes. The absolute CRAZY part about the whole “eye” thing is that a good majority of Asian stars have gotten cosmetic surgery to get the so-called wide eyes. Netizens are getting moist in the undies behind the illusion of perceived beauty. Bi is a NATURAL beauty just as he is……period! So netizens……GTFOH with that nonsense!!
  
  BTW, these “elementary school” articles are so silly to me now. No depth, no hard-hitting facts, just immature…churned up stupidness. Wonder what the late Mike Wallace and Walter Cronkite would have thought of these type of articles? They would be laughable really, if they didn’t carry so much “weight” among “nut buckets” online.
