Couldn’t help putting this up, it’s such a fun and doggone delightful rumor. And how many more chances do you think I’ll get to post a Jay-Z video on THIS blog? (zero) 🙂

Rain Might Sign To Jay-Z’s Roc Nation

OSEN reported an hour ago that Jay-Z’s record label, Roc Nation, has presented Rain with an offer to sign with the company, which he is currently looking over.

OSEN reports that they are currently figuring out the logistics of the Korean as well as worldwide copyrights, and once that’s agreed upon, it’ll all be signed, sealed, and delivered.

Though his star wattage shines way brighter than just South Korea, Rain has yet to release an album in the States. Signing with Roc Nation — the company that currently has Lil Kim, Kylie Minogue, & Rita Ora on its roster — could mean a surge in Rain’s popularity in the US market. As we mentioned, nothing has been signed yet, but we’ll update as soon as we have confirmation!

I have secretly hoped that Rain would do some work with a good R&B artist who could help him take his music to the next level. His voice, with the right R&B music arrangements, there would be no stopping him. I am not sure if he should sing in English tho, flows better when he sings in Korean.

Rain baby, come over here by us and work with some of our heavy hitting R&B artist, and music legends.

I want this to be true SO bad. Bi’s U.S. exposure would go Pow in a major way….out of sheer curiosity alone.

That illuminati “ish” people can ‘t even prove it as far as Jay-Z’s concerned himself, so let people talk. I’ll be listening to Bi and Jay and Tim throw down. Besides, that whole secret society stuff. I think people need to look to their individual governments first…..let’s start there. Those are the SHADIEST/”SECRET-EST” places of all. If Bi does go this route (*fingers crossed, fingers crossed*), it’s about to not matter what netizens think anymore…..for real.

  - Yeah, I would love the see a collaboration like that with Bi. Honestly, the U.S. mainstream only knows “blue-eyed soul” when it comes to non-AA R&B singers (generally speaking). It’s time the U.S. got more than/more of a little taste of “Asian soul” when it comes to R&B music. Jay-Z is a rapper/hip-hop artist who knows how to evolve, even within his chosen genre and remain relevant…..fresh. So Bi, we’ve decided we like this idea…..VERY much. *SMILES*……………………………….

I think it would be AMAZING for his career. Only negative i can think of is if he signs with JayZ, people will say hes now part of the Illuminati. As soon as he puts out a vid…..smh
