  1. Loved watching this, so young and so talented. I recently purchased the First Live Concert RainyDay from 2005. I heard a song for the first time . Its called Not Used To and Rain’s performance is very emotional it was hard for me to keep it together too. I really love this song. This dvd does not have subtitles. I believe once he pulled himself together he talked to the audience about the song. Do you know of which song I am referring to and would love to know more about it.

    • Hi, Maria. The song is Can’t Get Used To It (Unfamiliar/Iksukchjil Anhaso/익숙치 않아서), and it was so hard for him to sing because he would dedicate it to his mom in concert because he still wasn’t used to being without her. (She never got to see his success.) Many fans refer to it as his mom’s song (though the lyrics are about breaking up). Eventually he stopped singing it, after RAINY DAY. It was just too hard, I guess.

Honestly, though it’s one of my favorites, I haven’t been able to listen to it since my mom died last year. But one day…

    • If I remember correctly, the fans were pleading,” Don’t cry!”, and he was saying something to the effect of, “Sorry but this song really touches me, wow, I’ve really got to get myself together here. I’m letting myself get waaaaay too emotional, good grief. Don’t worry about me, I’m okay” and cheered himself up and moved on. 🙂
