The first time many of us heard this version was performed in concert, and to me, it will be forever linked to his red velvet jacket. There is a fan made video on YT…..”Rain Is A Candyman”…..it is a Cloud must-see! I would have put the link here but the video would have posted and the lyrical content may have pushed the PG-13 boundaries. I Love that thing and it’s so apropos for right now.

I’ll never forget when we were all on Twitter and listening to Speeding Instinct together, and Rain had the audacity to play that very song, “Candyman.” LMAO! You should have seen the tweets. We were all, “Whatchu tryin’a say, Rain? Whatchu tryin’a say, bruh?” And tweeting the lyrics to Speeding as if we were singing them, panties and cherries and all. If the person watching the Twitter knew any English and showed Rain and KCM, we know they were cracking UP.
He knew what he was doing playing that. LMAO
