SONG OF THE WEEK: “Man Up”, featuring Rain, which was supposed to be a bonus track on Omarion’s second album Omarion 21 (2006). As I understand it, somebody screwed Omarion (of B2K fame) and Rain over and leaked the song, and that was the end of that. So far, I’ve never seen the song legally listed anywhere as a part of the album. As far as introductions went, Rain was back to square one in the U.S. 😦 I’ve always liked this fan made video because it has BOTH Rain and Omarion in it, as it should, not just one guy or the other. I’ve no idea how MTV and NYC didn’t just EXPLODE from these two hunks of cuteness mannin’ up for a project.

Awww I’m sooo sorry!! 😥 I loved him, he was an amazing actor with a lovely personality! Michael Clarke Duncan will be missed! RIP Michael! 😦

This news makes me so sad. I loved his work and he was one of those actors who worked so bloody HARD to rise up from nothing into a really successful acting career. This news hit me hard, folks. I am so sad.
He was also my age, which is sort of scary. You never know, do you? Live every day preciously, people.

I see The Cloud is up and running all re-vamped. It looks really cool. I guess they haven’t divided the World Talk into the separate languages like before, but it looks much more sleek and modern. Really nice.

It does look nice.
Actually, they have divided World Talk up. There’s a menu at the top, and you’ll find English Talk there. The only thing I can’t find is the “Cloud Letter” board. The one where 8th Clouds could send a letter directly to Rain, ones that The Cloud had been delivering to him at his unit? It may still be around somewhere and I just can’t find it because I’m disoriented.

The “Cloud Letter” is the “Letter” link and I know because I had to go all the way back to page 101 to find one of my letters that I wrote under the old Cloud Letter from before. So, that’s where it is. (SMILES)

Hm. Well, the Cloud Letter I wrote last week isn’t there. It was written on the day of the server switch. Bummer. I wonder if it got lost in the shuffle?

You know they used to have a public “support” board and then the Cloud Letter space, which was only available for 8th Cloud members. So, I thought this new Cloud Letter space that I was seeing was the old main Support Message Board. But if you see your Cloud letter from the past, then it’s the Cloud Letter space.
Hm…I wonder if I saved a draft of my earlier letter? I may just re-post it.

On closer examination Terri, it seems they have the message board and the Cloud Letter meshed together right now. When I logged in just now, I saw a link that said “Message” (front and center) with someone’s message hi-lighted like the used to do. I clicked on the Message link and “To Rain” pops up, so I decided to go to the “Letter” link. When I clicked on it, the same first page that was under “Message” popped up under the “Letter” link also.
They did say they would still be doing some updating so I guess it will take a few days to get things completely back to normal.
