SONG OF THE WEEK: “I (Nan) 난”, Track 8 on Rain’s Vol. 3 album It’s Raining (2004). Yes, I do recall that “Nan” was song of the week #20 a while back, but RAINY Entertainment recently uploaded the official “Nan” music video—one of my precious favorites—and I’ve never posted the actual MV here on the blog before, and so I just can’t resist doing a song repeat. So here we go with the smooth as silk, sexy as all get out, go-to-church-Sunday-morning piano and organ-playing version of “Nan.” *pulling out my church lady fan ’cause it’s hot up in hurr* 🙂

Boy, it’s a damned shame when you can’t even go to a movie and be safe anymore. The world has just gone completely mad. Such a sad tragedy.
At the risk of sounding like a smart @ss who feels angry at this news, I would say…it’s like, if you feel something is not quite right “within” before you do something irreversible…Please seek council. It’s just not right what happened at that theater.

My son and future DIL are supposed to be treating me and Jim to movie night out this evening, to see the Dark Knight… needless to say, I’m not all that excited anymore because I’ve just been reminded that I can’t even damn TRUST THE PERSON STANDING NEXT TO ME TO HAVE SENSE. WTH.

Well, we made it to see The Dark Knight Rises also. I have to say, I was looking over my shoulder BUT eventually settled down and enjoyed the movie. It was AWESOME!! Hope you had a nice movie night too Stephe….all things considered. I’m still horrified by recent events.

We had the audacity to sit right in the front and look fear in the face. It was a great atmosphere, and no one in that theater let what the Colorado shooter did cripple them or destroy their time out with loved ones. Believe me, I had an eagle-eye on the exits and on anybody suddenly deciding to get up, but I was settled enough to really enjoy the movie without a problem. I’m happy to have seen it and would not have written the story any other way. Bane was amazing, as was the Batman and Selena Kyle and that young cop (kekekeke). The actors did an epic job. It was perfect!
The stories still coming out of Colorado are just heartbreaking. 😦

Roger That on spying the exits! That was the FIRST thing we did when we sat down…not gonna lie. About the movie, it’s crazy I’m so keying in on the writing now of these movies (it’s blowing my mind). When I see a plot twist now, it gives me goose bumps but in a different way.
Yeah, I liked….ahem….Robin and the Bane character was freakishly awesome. From top to bottom it was a great movie. As I said on FB, every now and then Hollywood gets one right. (SMILES)

Oh wow, great video!! Nan is epic and nobody can sing that song the way Rain does. I went to heaven and came back while hearing that song. His voice is amazing, pure pleasure to hear and full of soul. Love it! The pict is adorable!! Lovely Baby Boo!! 😀
