…and there. Or at least, it’s on its way there, anyway.
Yes, lovely Clouds, the calendar is done, finished, and this afternoon Stephe drove over to FedEx and shipped it off to Rain, in South Korea.
The calendar is 20 months long and is filled with lovely photos, quotes and sweet, sweet messages from you—Rain’s dear Clouds. So much love went into this project that we just know it is going to make Rain smile.
Our contacts in Korea have said that they will let us know when it arrives, and then it is just a matter of it being packed in a box that is headed for Rain’s new unit. We will let you know whenever it’s all a done deal.

What we can do is help instead of demanding … like I was told focus on what we can do. Mrs. Terri thank you for cheering me up that day. My relationship is rough and, Rain’s songs help me sort my feelings. With your reminder I moved forward.

I have been working my buns off for rain to spread the word about him.. I even use my mothers face book to spread the word. I have a live jurnal account maybe that will help too. I always have for years just with out help the steps were smaller than a babies step.

I am sorry miss Terri I am late on saying this, but I would do as much as possible for rain to achieve his goal as a fan. I am not crazy it’s just that I have not actually ever loved a persons music and, acting skills as much as I do him. And his personality just brings me in more. BUt, I see we achieved a goal by getting more fans. AweSome ! I feel like I was Useful for once to others. Other than family…. I do not get compliment much when I do good from my own man… BUt, anyways I am very happy that he has more fans. We are one step closer to bringing him to the west more and achieving his goal. It is about his happiness… Us fans cannot always demand all the time. HIs job is hard enough.

Don’t worry about being late responding to posts. We are always delighted when we see someone has gone back and responded to something we’ve done in the past. We are always getting new Rain fans (which I hope continues), and we certainly do hope everyone will go ramble around our older posts and read.
There is a LOT of information on this blog and in our forum about Rain and we do hope you all take advantage of our hard work and read everything.
I understand your feeling completely. I have never followed any celebrity as closely as I have Rain. I have never created a fan-site for one either. Neither has Stephe. So no problem there. I totally get what you are saying.
Rain just somehow manages to compel people to do amazing things and be awesome themselves. I don’t exactly know how he does it. It’s a gift from God and a mystery, indeed. :-}

I have been racking my brain for rain to think of ways to get his name out there more so his albums can be sold here in America. So his goal can be reached. That is one goal that is very very important to him. That he has said in a interview I had watched of his. I want to help him more and, more everyday. I have a vague Idea.

One thing that we think would help a LOT is for Clouds to get together regularly–in person–to share their love of Rain wherever they are located around the country. The more that people are getting together in person and sharing how much they enjoy Rain’s work the better he will fare over here.
Cloud USA has set up an avenue for these types of face-to-face activities by setting up a place in our forum for Cloudburst leaders to organize get-togethers in their own hometowns. We actually have volunteer leaders who have agreed to sponsoring Cloudburst groups across the entire country. Unfortunately, these groups have been very slow to start, with only a few being active so far. I will say, though, that those of us who have gotten together have had a fantastic time. It is such a blast to get together in person and meet the faces behind the online personas and take the time to gush over Rain together. You just wouldn’t believe how much fun it is. It is an awesome feeling.
It would certainly help if he would come to the U.S.A. and do a concert tour across the country or do another Hollywood film. Unfortunately, though, that’s not going to happen until he is out of the military. So, until them, the bulk of his promotion falls on us poor U.S Clouds who are way over here all by ourselves, trying like heck to get the word out about him.
If you have any ideas about how to spread the word more effectively, please do let us know.

Glad you like it, Cerine. 🙂 Terri was the mastermind and made the superhuman effort of gathering things from many fans and putting it all together just right. She did an amazing job with this calendar! I was lucky in that I had the easy part — getting the hard copy of her hard work made for JiHoon. It was a labor of love and she made sure to add all the love she could from as many Clouds as she could, no matter where they were in the world.

Okay, Clouds.
The word from Korea this morning was that the calendar has arrived safely, and as of yesterday, was on its way to Rain’s military unit.
Our job is done. That is all.

Girls you did soo good doing this project! I can’t begin to imagine what you were going thru while making this beauty of a calendar but whatever it was, is good to know it help you somewhat to survive that time. I do believe Rain entered in our lives for some reason, only God knows, when we needed him the must cuz it happened to me too. Rain was like a gentle breeze at a very difficult time in my life and I must say that I am still surviving with my mind intact because of him. Rain don’t know how much he has helped me!! Oh and let me tell you that I feel honored that the first picture he will see is one I sended of a beautiful beach in Puerto Rico. I hope it brings him joy!! Thanks soo much!! 😀

You do make a great point. It was so busy that we had no time to think. The calendar helped a lot…plus Rain’s singing.
We do sincerely hope that it makes him smile. Hopefully, he will understand how much love went into that thing. The love pouring out of all of your e-mails was palpable. I really felt quite honored to be tasked with putting it all together. A little overwhelmed, in fact.
I kept thinking is this good enough? What if everyone hates it? You should have seen me moving stuff around and rearranging. Oh, the stress! LOL. Quite silly. :-}

This is soooooo beautiful, I am blinking REALLY hard because I’ve become teary……..
I am so proud of the work that you guys have done……it takes a tremendous amount of skill, patience, creativity and love for the subject you are honoring to be able to produce a project this charming.
Fellow Clouds, you have outdone yourselves by presenting your own artwork, photos and inspirational phrases to use on the calendar. I think this shows how much we ALL care for Jung Ji-Hoon and also spotlights our wishes for him to have a blessed and enjoyable life.
Now July 2013 doesn’t seem so far away………..

It truly was our pleasure. It was really fun to put together.
Still, this project was a lot bigger in scope than we imagined. So, it took us a lot longer to complete than planned. We wanted to get it to him by Christmas last year, but with everything going on in our lives and then Stephe’s mom’s illness, that just didn’t happen.
I do hope everyone understands. I’m pretty sure Rain will be okay with it. After all, he’s still got plenty of months to count down yet.

It truly was a pleasure. There’s nothing like sitting down and working on something that makes you smile. This calendar did that for me. Let me be honest. Stephe and I were going through a really REALLY tough time during this project. It’s difficult to talk about it, even now, but it was a really bad time for the both of us. So, it was actually good to have a project like this to distract us somewhat. I think it distracted me more than it did Stephe, as I was the one deeply involved in the design, but I did call her many times for input, as you can imagine. So, that was a good thing.
In any event, I’m glad we got it done and I’m delighted that you all are so happy with it. After all, we made it both for Rain and his Clouds.
