PLEASE keep spreading the word so that the Yellow Ribbon for Rain Brigade continues to grow and grow. Let’s make sure that when JiHoon does get time online again—at present, no telling when that might be, so patience is the magic word, folks—he sees LOTS of Yellow Ribbons For Rain. Let’s surprise him with a global Brigade he can be proud of!

You can see Private JiHoon’s first letter to his Clouds and fans HERE, in our previous post. ♥

  1. Love the pictures of JiHoon and the song of the week too. And I have a question, We should still leave messages on the cloud and does JiHoon get a chance to read them or should we do both the letter on the cloud and the official site? I’m sorry I hope I’m not being confusing, I’m just not sure. I’m not good at random talk without a response. So I’d like to know were to actually leave him messages I don’t want to be repetitive.

  2. If you haven’t bought Ninja Assasssin yet (like me) it’s on Amazon.com for $4.49 right now. Can anyone say Christmas presents??

  3. They say registered Cloud 8 members are being asked to verify their mailing addresses beginning today. However, I don’t see it in English. I’ve managed to figure out a few symbols to get to what looks like an open thread, kinda like this one. I’m not sure if this the place we are to go to verify our addresses. Stephe/Terri have you ladies heard anything?

    • BiA, did you go here? The link is all the way down (scroll, scroll, scroll) and into the English translation, where it says (Overseas Cloud members only) in pink.

***EDITING TO ADD: The above link is directly to the form.
The executive post to scroll down for English and to see that link right above (Overseas Cloud members only) is here: http://rain-cloud.co.kr/common/board/content.asp?ref=4391&board_id=b_08062719294427&page=1&search_what=&keyword=

Sorry, didn’t mean to confuse you. 🙂

      • I don’t know what the hell happened. Somehow that 8th Cloud address page popped up and I just filled in my info. How I got there I have no clue. I went to log in so I could get to the link you have here. I never saw (Overseas Cloud members only). It was Serious DIVINE intervention……no joke.

        • You sounded so flustered that I wanted to send you the link directly to the address form. But I also wanted you to know where I got the link from, in case you went back looking at that executive post. Glad you’re all set! (the angels were working through me… hehe) Didn’t mean to confuse you…

          • I’m sorry, I meant to thank you for that. Yes, I wasn’t seeing “nutin” and while trying to “figure it out” you guessed it….I was becoming majorly frustrated. I saw a whole lotta pink in Korean. (SMILES) However, that’s how I am even at home reading English trying to figure out the computer sometimes (*Kekekekeke*) Don’t mind me, hey as long as I saw “Have Completed” at the end….I’m good! (SMILES)

  4. On the way to work this morning, the hot topic of conversation on the radio was about the mother who had her 8 year old child taken away because he was 218 pounds and considered obese. The mother says she’s tried to help him lose weight in the past. You know I have my opinion, but I just wondered what my fellow Clouds thought about this. What say you?

    • Hey BiA, I’ve seen talk shows on this subject and to me it seemed like the mothers were neglecting them poor kids, I mean you can see your child’s weight getting out of control and you shouldn’t be stuffing them with carbs and sweets just to please the kid they need fruits and veggies plus exercise and what about taking them to their doctors when you see a problem starting?. Raising a child is hard please don’t get me wrong and sure their are some who are very poor and not everyone is meant to be thin but if your thin and the kids father is thin and the kid is massively over weight somethings wrong. And if its a health issue the doctor should be doing their jobs.

BiA on this account your talking about I’m not sure about cause I haven’t been following so I can’t speak on this case, I was only speaking in general.

      • Hey Lotus….where you been lady?

I agree with you. What I was talking about was in the news recently. I’m not sure about the taking the kid away part, unless she has been proven to be unfit in ALL aspects not just feeding him, BUT I do think that mother should be given every opportunity to learn how to feed her child in the healthiest and most nutritious ways possible and if she still chooses to feed her kid to the point of obesity, then maybe take him away after that.

I’m not a parent as you know, but I’ve been a kid as we all have and I don’t know how people do it these days, but back when I was a small child there was no choices really. You ate what Mom or Grandmom put on that plate. Going to McDonalds and Jack in the Box was a special treat once or twice a month, not dinner every night. People also ate smaller portions back then and kids played outside all day, especially in the summer. There was no X-Box or internet to make you sedentary. Hubbie and I joked that the “small” size cup at a burger joint these days was a “large” when we were kids. Now with all this supersizing, you wonder why people are dying of obesity. I don’t even supersize, but I’m constantly trying to not overeat. It’s hard…yes, I do know.

  5. always so nice to wake up each day ..check in here and get my Rain fix…thanks for all your work!
