[6 weeks done] 비 Yourself Open Thread for 11/22 – 11/28.

» You can visit the previous Open Thread HERE. And of course, don’t forget that our Cloud USA Forum is a most excellent place for Rain love, fan communication, and self-expression.

By the way — have you left a message for JiHoon on The Cloud today?

» Our Project page for newbies on how to register for and USE the Official Cloud Rain Fan Club site in S.Korea is HERE.)

You can read about our latest Cloud USA road trip, to New York City, HERE and HERE.

PLEASE keep spreading the word so that the Yellow Ribbon for Rain Brigade continues to grow and grow. Let’s make sure that when JiHoon does get time online again—at present, no telling when that might be, so patience is the magic word, folks—he sees LOTS of Yellow Ribbons For Rain. Let’s surprise him with a global Brigade he can be proud of!

You can see Private JiHoon’s first letter to his Clouds and fans HERE, in our previous post. ♥

° EDITED TO ADD 11/20: For information on where to write JiHoon presently, please go to our information post HERE.

JiHoon has begun his seventh week as a military man. As many of you have read, he has three additional weeks of specialized training left, such as Guerrilla and other things in the field (he and his testosterone should have a hell of a lot of fun with that, he is a man’s man, after all), and then he’ll be moving into his formal position as an ROKA Assistant Training Officer for the duration of his duty. Come on, December! Hopefully he’ll get to see family again then, and have another opportunity to scarf down some prime grub for a few hours. 😀

Rain is Eternal. Where clouds stay gathered, rain will always come. It is inevitable.

  2. @Bia
Finally finished City Hunter!! OMG!!! I was at the edge of my seat THE WHOLE DARN FINAL EPSODE!!! Jesus it was AWESOME!! Best series since Fugitive Plan B!! 😀

    • Yeah, I absolutely loved it and Lee Min Ho has zoomed into my #2 spot, behind Bi. Nobody comes before Bi (SMILES). City Hunter was a great series.

    • Wasn’t that a great little drama!? I loved it too. And Lee Min Ho is shaping up to be quite the actor, isn’t he? I’m going to keep watching him…

Two more Korean actors I’m following closely: Kim Soo-Hyun (who played Song Sam-dong in Dream High) and Yeo Jin-Ku, who I discovered while watching the historical Korean drama “Giant.”

I’m sure I don’t have to explain about Kim Soo-Hyun. What a charmer he is–and extremely talented in the acting department. I’ve been watching him since I stumbled across the lovely little drama, “Will It Snow for Christmas,” where he played the teenaged version of the leading man. He did a terrific job with Song Sam-dong’s character–even with the singing. (Go watch Will It Snow for Christmas, btw. A great little drama…)
I sure do wish someone would give this young man the “lead” in something. I think he would be amazing.

Yeo Jin-Ku is still very young, and so he is still playing the “younger” versions of leading men, but he sure does have some acting chops on him. Worth keeping an eye on. Yeo Jin-Ku also appears in the drama Warrior Baek Dong Soo, where he plays the younger Baek Dong Soo.

      Terri :-}

      • I’ll write these down. I’m really getting into the K-dramas lately. You know I have to say, nobody loves a pretty face and sexy body more than me, but I really, Really love it when I stumble upon somebody who ACTUALLY has the talent to back up the looks. The talent Always wins me over in the end. Always. Yes, I will be following Lee Min Ho’s career as well. Now I’m on to watching the other ones you suggested. (SMILES)

      • Hey Terri, Warrior Baek Dong Soo I started watching just now. Only two episodes in and I’m hooked already. This kind of series is right up my alley. Yes these are some good little actors. Anybody who shares my love of Game of Thrones, I knew wouldn’t steer me wrong. (SMILES)

        • I wanna check out Kim Geung Joong in Playfull Kiss. It looks like a good drama. Also I’m looking for a drama of Kim Bum Soo. These young men are very good actors too. Lee Min Ho definetely won my #2 spot as leading actor. His work in City Hunter leaved a lasting impression on me. I’ll be watching any drama he’s in from now on. Min Ho has a charming personality and real talent as an actor. He can sing pretty good too. Now he’s in a Tour in Japan and there’s a buzz that a second season of City Hunter is coming. That will be awesome!! 🙂

  3. Stephe, sent an email for you thanks. (SMILES)

  4. Terri, check the “LetitRain” email (Yellow Ribbon For Rain project). I sent something. Don’t know where you’ll see this message.

  5. Georgeous Hair, back dimples in one place…gawd just kill me now!! Arghhh!!!! Stephe what have you done!!!! Swoon O.o

  6. Does he have a tattoo?

  7. 6 weeks done. Time is flying by, like I knew it would. If you think time doesn’t fly by, if your over 30 honey it feels like you have a birthday every other week instead of every year. I’ve reached by 90th birthday already.
